Blur
are an English rock/pop band formed in 1989 under the name of Seymour. They were one of the most significant bands of the 1990s in Britain and were the important part of the so-called Britpop movement.Blur are an English alternative rock band that formed in London in 1989. The four members of the band are: Damon Albarn (vocals), Graham Coxon (guitar), Alex James (bass guitar) and Dave Rowntree (drums)
The band have released seven studio albums plus one "best of" compilation. Their breakthrough album Parklife was released in 1994. The band's most popular hits include "Song 2", "Country House", "Girls & Boys" and "Parklife".
However, Blur are far more than Britpop and the hits you may have heard. If you include their solo projects, it's hard to come by with a musical style they haven't covered. Their music is usually an inventive mixture of different styles. Every album the band have released is unique and musically different.
Guitarist Graham Coxon left Blur in 2002 and concentrated on his solo career. The band made their last album Think Tank without him (vocalist Damon Albarn played guitars and Simon Tong was an additional guitarist on tour). After Think Tank, a few recording sessions took place without Graham, but nothing was released.
In 2007, Alex revealed that the band will soon return to the studio to see whether they still 'got it' or just call it a day. All four members (now including Graham) met later in the year, but only to "catch up with old friends".
As of October 2008, the band have been totally inactive for over three years and the possibilities of reunion seem quite thin. While other members are pretty optimistic about making the music together again, Damon has stated that he is against the idea (although he said on BBC Radio 2 in August that working with Graham may be "possible").Blur – Discography 1991 - 2003

FREE TIPS FOR BEGINNING BLOGGERS!
Label: MiscallenousMany beginning bloggers earn small cash at home, but many are unaware that you can earn major cash from blogging. Bloggers earn $1,000 a month by blogging part-time even without a web site! To earn more money from blogging, you need proven software tools and a few free tips for beginning bloggers from bloggers who already found out what works and what doesn't.
Let's start by busting a few key myths about blogging.
Myth Number One: "Making cash in your spare time is easy."
Busted! Don't even go there. Do you honestly know anybody who has spare time? Get real! True, there are hundreds of thousands of professional bloggers making full-time incomes blogging part-time, but almost all of them carved time out of burdened schedules with a chainsaw when they first started.
Myth Number Two: "Nothing beats blogging from the comfort of your home."
Busted! Most homes are hives of activity. Unfinished projects want attention and compete for your "spare" time. Laundry, dishes, cooking, cleaning. Even grout wants attention. Temptation lurks all around your home. The remote calls from the sofa. That book you bought begs to be read. An innocent cup of tea can become your worst enemy. And when you are all blogged out, which can and does happen, anything beats blogging from the comfort of your home!
Myth Number Three: "It's easy. You can use the same stuff on six diverse sites."
Busted! Nothing that pays well is easy. Most of us had to crack the books in high school to get a passing grade. bloggers who got straight A's without hard work were few and far between. We talked about them like they were circus freaks. "Geeks" were originally side show freaks who bit the heads off live chickens. And you can't reuse the same stuff over and over because diverse sites have diverse rules and diverse audiences.
Which is not to say don't expect to earn cash, even really good quantities of cash, blogging. Expect to invest time learning the ropes. Expect to prime the pump, but not with money because one of the beautiful things about blogging is it costs almost nothing to get started. So prime the pump first, then expect to earn cash!
Making quantities of cash from blogging is the most overlooked at-home oppportunity on the internet today. The majority of bloggers blog daily just for fun without getting paid. 5 Reasons To Why Blogging Is The New Internet Marketing Tool
Label: MiscallenousDid you know that one of the easiest home based businesses to start is Blogging? This type of business is one of the most growth potential in the Internet. Blogging is a concept that started in late 90s. It used to be a way to comment an existing webpage, an opportunity for visitors and readers to react or voice out ones opinion on the said page. What started as a single-sentence commentary has evolved into pages of personal take on just about anything and everything under the sun. As it continues to move forward, online advertising has tapped into the blogs potential.
Here are 5 reasons why Blogging:
1) Is simple - The simplest way to get your piece on the net is through blogging. No skills are necessary an average adult can read and type, or at least click a mouse. Its like having a virtual piece of paper and you just write your ideas, experiences, new products, and hope that the truth behind your articles comes out and entice your reader to also try your product. If you have a PC and an Internet connection (who doesnt?) then you can blog and advertise.
2) Is authentic - In this day and age where advertising saturate our lives, we question the credibility of promoters claims. However, in blogs, real people share their real-life experiences, unscathed by paid advertising. Reading blogs about first-hand product use is like talking to people about their first-hand experience. You definitely want to buy a tried and tested product.
3) Is free - Because blogging is yet to be proven as a mainstream online advertising media, most sites see it as something to augment current marketing tools and thus offer it for free. Any opportunity for free webtime is definitely a bonus especially to businesses that are starting up. Needless to say, paid blog pages can generate more income for your seriously growing business.
4) Builds credibility - As you get more and more into writing your experiences on a particular product or industry, your readers come to realize that they can depend on your posts for their own information needs. As such, you become an expert on it; as a consequence, more readers visit your site and more bloggers link to your blogs. As companies and professional organizations notice the growth of your readership base, they may soon get in touch with you for advertising on your blog page, or make you an affiliate, which pays for every referral generated from your blog site.
5) Builds your market - Unless you are a Hollywood star, chances are, only your Mom reads your posts. Mom has a lot of friends, so she lets her friends know how interesting your blog site is. But you need not depend on Mom to increase your readership base.
Build your market through blogging by:
*Using your e-mail - Today, blogging is overcoming the e-mails popularity in quickly and effectively reaching and expanding a market. In this age of speed and quick access, logging in and downloading e-mail is simply taking longer than clicking into a blog site. Let them explore your site by using a short e-mail message as teaser to your blog site. If your e-mail is on an entirely different subject, use your e-mail signature to give a link to the site.
*Using subscription - An easy way to get your readers e-mail is to give them an opportunity to subscribe to your blogsite. Keep some exclusive information for your subscribers to entice readers to subscribe and give their e-mail address. Just be responsible in using their e-mail address, as the last thing you want is a comment on your blog that you are
